About Ace Fabien Photography

Photography, for me, is more than a craft—it’s a way of seeing. I believe every moment in nature carries a story, and my camera is simply the tool that helps me share it. From mist-covered forests and rushing streams to sweeping mountain landscapes and radiant sunsets, my work seeks to capture not only what the eye can see but also what the heart can feel.

Based in British Columbia, I draw inspiration from the wild beauty around me—its mountains, rivers, forests, and skies. Each image is a reflection of my passion for light, stillness, and the intricate details of creation. Whether it’s the drama of a storm, the quiet of dawn, or the timelessness of black and white, I aim to create photographs that stir emotion and invite reflection.

This journey began with a simple desire: to pause, notice, and preserve moments of awe. Today, through my photography, I hope to inspire others to slow down, connect with nature, and see the extraordinary woven into the everyday.

What I Focus On

• Nature: Raw, wild, intimate scenes that whisper the story of earth, wind, water and stone. “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” (John 1:3) 

• Landscape: Grand vistas and quiet corners both, where the expanse of the land invites reflection. “On the glorious splendour of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.” (Psalm 145:5)

• Sunrise & Sunset: The hour when light bends softly, color blooms, and the day exhales.

• Black & White: Stripped of distraction, revealing shape, form and contrast in its purest form.

My Philosophy

I believe in slowing down. Waiting for the moment when the wind changes, the light surrenders, and the camera becomes less of a tool and more of a witness. I believe in connection—between viewer and scene, between moment and memory. When you look at one of my photographs, I hope you don’t just see a mountain or a forest—you feel the quiet, you remember the breath you took when you first arrived, and you’re drawn into a new way of seeing.
